Their faces lit up! They could not wait to read the new books and try out the new furniture. \r\nSome feedback from students: ...\"I like to sit in the bean bag chair with my Squish- mellow and new books!\"...\"I feel happy because the new book helped me read better.\"...I love the new things that were donated.\"...\"I really have fun on the miniature couch.\"\r\nThe next steps with our new resources is to expand our writing using both fiction and nonfiction decodable text. The children will write responses to literature and share facts learned with nonfiction.
