By giving students a structured way to move, jump, balance, and reset, the path supports self-regulation and focus throughout the school day. Teachers have noticed smoother transitions, fewer behavioral disruptions, and improved readiness to learn—especially for students who benefit from movement and sensory input.\r\nBeyond regulation, the sensory path has strengthened our school culture. It normalizes movement as a learning tool, promotes inclusivity, and gives students agency over their needs. Used proactively or as a quick reset, the path helps students return to class calm, confident, and ready to engage, reinforcing our commitment to supporting the whole child. Thank you all.","fullyFundedDate":1765482420814,"projectUrl":"project/autism-sensory-path-needed/9871561/","projectTitle":"Autism Sensory Path Needed!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Bichao","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10340248_orig.jpg?crop=1351,1351,x965,y386&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1762197165954","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10340248"},{"teacherId":9329449,"projectId":9476749,"letterContent":"Because of your generosity, my students now have access to iPads that are transforming how they learn, reflect, and grow emotionally. Technology is not replacing connections in my classroom, it's strengthening it.\r\nIn school settings these iPads serve a very intentional purpose. Students use them to engage in social-emotional learning (SEL) activities such as mood check-ins, guided reflections, goal-setting exercises, journaling, and mindfulness practices. The iPads give students a safe and structured way to explore their emotions, build self-awareness, and practice coping strategies at their own pace. For many students, it's easier to express their feelings through a screen first, which opens the door to deeper conversations with trusted adults.\r\nWhat excites students most about the iPads is that learning feels personal and interactive. SEL lessons come alive through videos, interactive apps, and creative tools that allow students to draw, write, record their thoughts, and track their emotional growth over time. Students feel a sense of ownership and pride when using the iPads, and that engagement leads to greater participation and focus during lessons.\r\nSome students have especially flourished with this technology, particularly those who struggle to verbalize their feelings, experience anxiety, or need additional emotional support. Students who were once quiet or withdrawn are now more willing to reflect, share, and ask for help. The iPads have become a bridge to helping students communicate emotions they didn't yet have the words for.\r\nThanks to this project, my students are not just learning with technology, but they are learning about themselves. Your support is helping nurture confident, emotionally aware learners who feel seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.","fullyFundedDate":1761656617431,"projectUrl":"project/tech-for-heart-ipads-for-emotional-grow/9476749/","projectTitle":"Tech for Heart: iPads for Emotional Growth","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Boozer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9329449"},{"teacherId":9638534,"projectId":8948314,"letterContent":"On behalf of our kindergarten students and teaching staff, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous support in funding our new classroom library area.
