With new microphones and belt packs, students can be heard clearly and confidently, allowing them to focus on their acting rather than projection. This has elevated our productions to a more professional level while giving students valuable, real-world technical experience. At the same time, spike tape has made our stage safer and more organized by clearly marking positions and pathways, helping students learn industry-standard practices behind the scenes.\r\n\r\nYour support has also had a powerful impact on student confidence and opportunity. Even our quietest performers feel empowered to take the stage, knowing their voices will be heard, and more students are stepping into both onstage and technical roles. It was a surprise and a treat to each one of my many students who were impacted by this project. They also really enjoyed having breakfast snacks available in the morning - this was very helpful for my students who don't often eat breakfast but need that morning fuel. \r\n\r\nWe also really enjoyed having the snacks available for students when we had a small contest or good natured competition in the class. We ended up sharing all the great snacks with everyone, but these little bonus round snacks were even more fun! \r\n\r\nFood brings so much joy and pleasure to the often routine days of school. While we are just getting started, I have already begun creating our first model: an anatomical heart that students will be able to explore during our upcoming circulatory system unit.\r\n\r\nThis technology will play a powerful role in helping my students learn by turning abstract scientific concepts into something they can see and touch. Many students find it challenging to visualize what's happening inside the human body, and I am incredibly optimistic that hands-on models like this will make those ideas more clear, engaging, and meaningful.\r\n\r\nMy students are already excited knowing that we will be using a 3D printer in our classroom. The idea that we can design and create our own models has sparked a lot of curiosity and anticipation. I'm especially looking forward to seeing how this technology supports students who benefit from hands-on learning experiences and gives them new ways to connect with the content.\r\n\r\nThis is just the beginning. The new materials you provided gave my students the opportunity to design and conduct hands-on investigations. We used the resources to compare how skittles dissolve in water, isopropyl alcohol, and vinegar, while carefully measuring the time that the Skittles took to dissolve. The experience strengthened students' understanding of solubility, molecular interactions and experimental design in a way that was both engaging and meaningful.\r\n\r\nWhen students first walked in and saw trays of brightly colored skittles arranged next to labeled solvent containers, the excitement was immediate. There were smiles, wide eyes, and plenty of predictions being whispered across tables. A particular memorable moment was when a group observed the colors spreading differently in the different solvents and discussing predictions for which solvent will dissolve the Skittles the fastest. One student even said, \"it's like we're watching the molecules move!\" The spark of curiosity led to deeper conversations about why certain solvents dissolve substances more effectively and how temperature influences particle motion.\r\n\r\nAfter the Skittles solubility lab, students are applying what they learned to a current project focused on designing their own controlled experiments. They are developing testable questions about dissolving rates and solvent effectiveness, identifying variables and planning procedures to ensure precision in their tests.
