The students have been working hard to learn how to craft new delicious hot and cold beverages by: following directions, learning skills to navigate a kitchen area/appliances, and increasing their social skills when delivering teachers' made to order beverages when they sell to the school staff members. \r\n\r\nThe money raised from the coffee cart partially goes to materials and costs for special olympics as well as lunch and a class field trip to have a community based learning experience. The students have been brainstorming where they want to use the money raised from their coffee cart to go on a class field trip for a community based learning experience- all because they will have a large surplus because the money earned won't have to go back into purchasing more materials- since you all donated so many materials! \r\n\r\nWhen the school secretary delivered the myriad of boxes full of coffee k-cups, syrups, coffee cups/lids, and hot chocolate boxes, they let out audible hoorays and cheers; while come clapped, and other jumped up and down.
