Wow! I did not expect all of the students to be so engaged and enjoy the story so well. We are going back through the book again for a slower read of two chapters a day. They completed chapters 1-2 and made their favorite scenes from those two chapters. \r\nI had some amazing pictures with a short paragraph summarizing each image. There were some minor images that students had that really cracked me up, especially one with the elixir that Dr. Cranium gave to John Midas. \r\nMany kids went through and made pictures of the list of candies John liked, the image of him laying in his bed with the candy under the bed.\r\nFun times continue to be had.
