They know they can make mistakes, wipe them away, and try again without the pressure of a messy paper. Just last week, we used the anchor chart paper to bring a complex fractions lesson to life. I mapped out the visual models on a massive colorful chart, and the students often used it as a reference to help them solve their problems. Between having a steady supply of pencils to keep us moving and the car toys in our treasure box acting as the ultimate reward for hard work, our classroom dynamic has found a really amazing rhythm. \r\n\r\nOne student shouted, \"We get our own erasers now?!\" while others were thrilled just to see the Kleenex. Running out of tissues by January is an annual battle, so the kids were incredibly relieved to see we had a large amount. Your generosity didn't just fill our supply closets; it brought so much joy, energy, and comfort into our classroom every single day.
