One way we have found to build language and literacy skills is with retelling props to use during and after a read aloud story. Just this week we used the \"5 Little Pumpkin\" felt set to act out the story and get all students involved. \r\nWe also use the alphabet sound tubs to practice the initial sound of the words but also build language through labeling.
