I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generous support of our classroom project. Thanks to your donation, our students now have cozy seating, better organization, and much-needed supplies that have made a world of difference in our learning environment. I wanted to take a moment to share how these resources have already begun to transform our classroom experience.\r\n\r\nThe new cozy seating arrangements have given our students the flexibility to work in ways that suit their learning styles. For example, during a recent group project on creative writing, students were able to choose from a variety of seating options—whether it was the soft beanbags, the comfy floor cushions, or the standing desks. This freedom allowed them to feel more relaxed and open-minded, which resulted in some truly inspiring and imaginative stories. The new seating has sparked collaboration, and students are more engaged than ever, with many of them excitedly exchanging ideas with their peers in comfortable, informal settings.\r\n\r\nWhen the supplies and seating were first set up, the excitement in the room was palpable. The students couldn't believe their eyes when they saw the new materials. There was an audible gasp as they discovered the colorful storage bins and the abundance of books, markers, and art supplies. One of my students even remarked, \"It feels like a real classroom now!\" That moment was a reminder of how important these resources are, not just for their learning, but for their sense of belonging and pride in their space.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are currently in the middle of a hands-on science project where the students are building simple machines. The new organization tools have made it so much easier for them to store and access the materials they need. Every piece has its place, which has helped minimize distractions and wasted time. The students are now moving ahead with greater independence, and I can already see their problem-solving skills growing as they build and test their machines.\r\n\r\nAs we continue with this project and others, we're excited about the opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and deeper learning. The next step in our science project will be to present their machines to the class, explaining how each one works and how they solved the design challenges. With the resources you helped provide, our students are ready to take on even more ambitious projects, and we are all looking forward to what comes next.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of my students and myself, thank you again for your incredible generosity. Your contribution is helping us create an environment where students are not only learning but thriving. We couldn't do it without you.","fullyFundedDate":1736985988861,"projectUrl":"project/cozy-organized-classrooms-for-the-magic/9059006/","projectTitle":"Cozy, Organized Classrooms for the Magical Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Leming","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6718478"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_102690","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":881,"numTeachers":57,"percentFrplEligible":36,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":6,"percentWhite":67,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":19,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"15.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":76.0,"schoolId":102690,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Indian Knoll Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Indian Knoll Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/georgia/cherokee-county-school-district/indian-knoll-elementary-school/102690"}
