When I shared the news about our project and it being fully funded, the kids could not wait to receive their new books and see our new storage! One of the first things we all did together was read one of the stories purchased from the social/emotional book bundle to recenter our classroom expectations and love for one another as we came into the post holiday season. It was a beautiful start to using our new resources and showing my students what we will be able to accomplish. \r\n\r\nAs we continued in our room after the busy holiday season, we worked together to set each student up with an individual book bin to store their books for easy access to read. This has helped many of my students find a book quickly that they know is at their level to get into reading when the time comes. We have also used our National Geographic book set in our small group settings to both increase our reading skills and also bolster our science curriculum as well. \r\n\r\nNone of this would have been possible without your support and generosity.
