They really love the sensory tubes and also the index cards to write down their feelings, fears, or needs. \r\n\r\nWith the help of these new materials, students have a safe place to reset when they feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or need a moment to refocus. The Zen Den will continue to support their social-emotional development while helping them build lifelong skills in mindfulness, emotional awareness, and problem-solving. Once their emotions are regulated, they are better able to focus and learn in the classroom.\r\n\r\nYour kindness helped me to create a classroom where every child feels supported, valued, and ready to learn.
