This engagement is crucial for deep learning, as it encourages students to actively participate in the learning process. Interactive notebooks provide a dynamic space where students can interact with their learning in creative and meaningful ways, which significantly enhances their ability to remember and recall information.\r\n\r\nInteractive learning reinforces memory and supports long-term retention, which is essential for academic success. Additionally, because students actively engage with the content, the notebook becomes an invaluable resource for review, enabling them to revisit concepts at any time and reinforcing their understanding of the material.\r\n\r\nYour donation helps to support this active, hands-on learning process. By providing the necessary materials for interactive notebooks, you are directly contributing to students' ability to engage with their learning, retain information more effectively, and ultimately achieve higher levels of success.","fullyFundedDate":1739375089040,"projectUrl":"project/interactive-learning/9057525/","projectTitle":"Interactive Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Katina. By integrating reading across different subject areas, students can practice and apply essential reading skills while making connections to the content in subjects like Math and Science. For instance, in Fourth grade, students first learn to identify shapes based on their attributes. I used the book Squares, Rectangles, and Other Quadrilaterals to help them relate to this concept, as well as Triangles. I also encouraged students to read books and share them with their peers. Thanks to your generous donations, I was able to provide these valuable opportunities. The students have enjoyed both the read-aloud sessions and sharing their reading experiences with the class. \r\nI want to express my gratitude and that of my students.","fullyFundedDate":1722679957105,"projectUrl":"project/its-in-a-book/8499216/","projectTitle":"It's in a Book","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Katina.
