Because of your support, our classroom has been transformed into a space where curiosity, creativity, and comfort thrive.\r\n\r\nThe excitement was electric when my students first saw the materials you helped provide. Their faces lit up as they unpacked the cozy bean bag chairs and cushions, eager to curl up with a book in their new reading nook. Our sensory-friendly tools immediately found their way into busy hands, helping students focus and engage more fully in their lessons. The biggest moment of awe came when we unwrapped the microscopes—suddenly, science wasn't just something they read about; it was something they could see and explore firsthand.\r\n\r\nOne of the most powerful moments came during a recent science lesson when we used the microscopes to examine strawberry DNA samples. Students were amazed to discover a whole word in the slides they made, sparking discussions and questions that lasted well beyond the school day. Moments like this remind me why hands-on learning is so important—and thanks to you, these experiences are now a reality in our classroom.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these resources will continue to shape our learning. Our next big project will incorporate both science and art, as students create detailed observational drawings of the microscopic world they are now able to explore. Meanwhile, our reading corner has already encouraged more independent reading, with students excited to dive into books in their comfortable new space.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has gone beyond providing supplies—you have given my students the message that their education matters, that their dreams deserve support, and that there are people out there who believe in them. That impact will last far beyond this school year.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for making a difference in my students' lives.","fullyFundedDate":1737961120726,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-christmas-wishlist/8995779/","projectTitle":"Classroom Christmas Wishlist","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Charter","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9522367_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1733923782189","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9522367"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_61551","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":350,"numTeachers":18,"percentFrplEligible":90,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":25,"percentIndigenous":31,"percentLatinx":33,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"2 - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"19.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":54.2,"schoolId":61551,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Hulet Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Hulet Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arizona/holbrook-unified-school-district-3/hulet-elementary-school/61551"}
