Students now have access to these props for yoga and other mindfulness activities without having to purchase their own materials. Students have enjoyed being able to learn more about mindfulness and yoga and how these practices can be used on and off the mat.\r\n\r\nOne student in particular wrote this about the mindfulness activities: \"When participating in the mindfulness activities, it can be relieving to reflect on something related to oneself and sometimes us students don't have the time to write such things, so to be able to do this during class is a great addition and I appreciate it a ldot.\"\r\n\r\nAnother student shared: \"I really enjoy mindfulness Mondays because I feel like it helps me destress after the first two blocks of school. Although they may not seem like much, I am glad that they form part of our Mondays because they help me focus on calming myself and not as much on the anxiety from schoolwork.\"\r\n\r\nThese simple additions to my classroom are giving student the chance to learn and integrate mindfulness into their lives!
