The new titles focused on communication differences, self-confidence, and social-emotional skills are already making a noticeable difference in lessons and student interactions. These books introduce vocabulary and concepts that help students name their feelings and communication styles, model effective strategies for expressing needs and listening to others, and provide safe, relatable scenarios for practicing empathy, perspective‑taking, and conflict resolution. Teachers can use these books as a base for mini‑lessons targeting social skills, communication differences among peers, self-confidence and foster an inclusive school environment for all. \r\n\r\nAll students benefit form these books. Students who have trouble with social and emotional skills have an engaging way to learn new skills and scripts they could use.
