The supplies we got from this project were such a blessing. It was a wonderful experience for our class to be outside, serving our community and creating a beautiful space for nature and others. \r\nFor this project we picked multiple bags of weeds, built planter boxes, put up bird and hummingbird feeders, and planted flowers. It is a true pollinator sanctuary! One of my favorite moments was seeing the kids using power tools to build the planter boxes. Seeing the brand-new goals, pinnies, and soccer balls sparked so much excitement and pride. We used the equipment right away to set up small-sided drills and team scrimmages. The pinnies have made it easier to organize fair and balanced teams, and the soccer balls allow us to practice essential skills like passing, dribbling, and shooting with much more consistency.\r\n\r\nThe impact goes beyond the field. Many students who had never played soccer before now participate regularly and are developing a real love for the game. They've also been practicing good sportsmanship and leadership, which ties into the GRASSP values we promote—Growth, Respect, Accountability, Sportsmanship, Safety, and Positivity. Our next steps include preparing for an end-of-season trophy tournament where students from local schools will compete in front of their families and school community. This equipment has been a game-changer—thank you for making this possible!","fullyFundedDate":1737850851180,"projectUrl":"project/our-school-is-getting-a-grassp-on-soccer/9069432/","projectTitle":"Our School Is Getting a GRASSP on Soccer","teacherDisplayName":"Maestro Rodriguez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9901418_orig.png?crop=381,382,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1737140561782","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9901418"},{"teacherId":8578427,"projectId":8679460,"letterContent":"I cannot thank you enough for supporting my classroom! The supplies I got from Donor's Choose, with your help, aided me in creating a classroom space that is organized and peaceful.\r\nOne material that we got that my students LOVE are the floor seats. The cushions are soft and cozy and the students love having the cushions to create alternative seating options around the room. They grab a cushion, their favorite book and lean into their learning!\r\nTwo materials that I love are the cork roll and the roll of border for the cork. These may seem insignificat, but they create a calmer atmosphere. Borders lend to organization and less environmental clutter which is helpful to my students (and it's aesthetically pleasing to the eye!).\r\nWhile those are just a few of the items we got, please know that all the items are utilized and cherished.","fullyFundedDate":1733235186959,"projectUrl":"project/support-crowded-classroom/8679460/","projectTitle":"Support Crowded Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Burrell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8578427_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1659968637301","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8578427"},{"teacherId":8934948,"projectId":8740855,"letterContent":"when a project is brought to completion, it makes me happy but it makes my students happier.
