They were excited to explore the space and couldn't wait to try out the new tools designed to help them manage their emotions. For many of my students, this safe space has quickly become a comforting part of our classroom where they can pause, breathe, and reset before returning to learning.\r\n\r\nWe're using the resources as part of our Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) routine. Students now know they can visit the calm area when they feel overwhelmed or need a short break to refocus. The squeeze balls and breathing visuals from the Calm kit have been especially effective in helping them release tension and practice mindfulness. It's been wonderful to see students take ownership of their emotions and use healthy strategies instead of reacting out of frustration.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue incorporating these materials into our weekly SEL lessons, helping students develop emotional awareness and self-regulation skills they can use beyond the classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for supporting this project!
