Scholastic "Science World" magazines will give my students more reading options related to science. My students have biweekly assignments to read analyze scientific articles. It is sometimes hard to find articles that would be interesting to them and at a reading level they can understand. The purpose of this assignment and this project is to expose my students to as many science topics as possible. This project would allow all of my students to have their own copy of the magazine that they can read and annotate for their article assignment and then keep with them to read the whole magazine on their own time. I have used single copies project on the Smartboard but this is less than effective.
