The students were so happy to see and use the equipment that your donation made possible. They have been able to use pinnies to help identify teammates during activities. This definitely helps when we are trying to encourage team play and working together. Soccer nets have been used inside an outside as this is a popular sport at the school. The indoor nets get used during Handball, which is a full unit that is taught. Outdoor basketball is a favorite, the students play at recess and they have a unit on the game of basketball too. This was a new challenge of balance for them. It also encouraged them to pass the ball during play as they moved closer to their goals. I could hear students calling to each for passes. This is such a benefit to their team play. Goalies were able to be seen easily as they stood in ready defense positions between the new colored cones that you kindly donated. The new dodge balls were used in this activity because they are a good visible target to strike with the hockey sticks. The goalies were able to handle the balls and make stops before they hit the padded wall. The dodge balls allow students to easily return them into play by throwing and rolling them. \r\n\r\nThe new soccer balls were very appreciated while students take part in outdoor play. This allows for teamwork, foot skills for ball control, and overall fitness.
