Because of you, I was able to order many different supplies to use with my Socratic Smackdown debate activity. \r\n\r\nStudents absolutely loved using the anchor paper and brightly colored markers to write notes. The whiteboards were very easy to travel around the classroom with, and the timers, pencils, and paper helped keep everyone on schedule and on point! The teams were sincerely grateful because the new materials helped make their experience both exciting and easy to accomplish. \r\n\r\nThis debate activity allows all students to be involved in higher levels of thinking, where they can take ownership of their own learning. This end product, a ten-minute debate, is truly a team effort, which has provided them with differentiation and many opportunities to showcase various skills.\r\n\r\nWith your donation, I was also able to help my students manage their research and help strengthen their team's chances to win the Smackdown.
