Your support has brought an unparalleled wave of excitement and new opportunities to our classroom, and we are all truly grateful.\r\n\r\nThe moment the boxes arrived, the energy in the room was electric. The students are practically buzzing with anticipation to get started with the 3D printers; the idea of designing something on a screen and then holding a physical model of it in their hands is absolutely magical to them.\r\n\r\nBut the excitement doesn't stop there! They are equally curious about the breadboards, and I can already see future engineers eager to learn how to build their first circuits. The button maker has also been a huge hit, sparking all kinds of creative ideas for them to design and share their own messages.\r\n\r\nBeyond the hands-on tech, you have also given us a crucial head start on real-world skills with the financial literacy supplies. In today's world, these lessons are just as vital as any other, and I am so thankful to have the right resources to teach them about budgeting, saving, and making smart choices.\r\n\r\nYour donation has done more than just provide supplies; it has sent a powerful message to my students that their ideas are valuable and that their future is worth investing in. Thank you for believing in their potential.","fullyFundedDate":1755521966624,"projectUrl":"project/smart-supplies-for-bright-minds/9533752/","projectTitle":"Smart Supplies for Bright Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Dunatov","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1755623_orig.jpg?crop=960,960,x234,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1582663554139","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ginadunatov"},{"teacherId":1755623,"projectId":8980803,"letterContent":"The materials that were funded with this grant have allowed my students to be exposed to many aspects of 3-D printing. One of those aspects is designing and printing keychains and different pieces of jewelry. It also encourages them to explore 3-D design and how to change the settings in the slicer program.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, students are learning how to change parts and to repair the 3-D printer which is essential for the maintenance of the printer. When a printer is used in a school setting, it gets used very often and needs a lot of maintenance; the funds were used to purchase items needed to maintain the printers. The students are learning how to fix and update the printers.\r\n\r\nThank you very much on behalf of my students for giving them this opportunity.","fullyFundedDate":1739409545112,"projectUrl":"project/building-the-future-empowering-students/8980803/","projectTitle":"Building the Future: Empowering Students With 3D Printing Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Dunatov","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1755623_orig.jpg?crop=960,960,x234,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1582663554139","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ginadunatov"},{"teacherId":5703136,"projectId":8951032,"letterContent":"My students were excited to see the new materials graciously donated to my classroom. The students could not wait to see the cool and interesting projects we would do with the new materials. This project funded materials that would help engage my students in projects to help them understand skills usually taught abstractly. For example, my 6th graders used pony beads or Perler Beads to create a pattern. Here, they could determine the ratio of certain colors in the pattern. The other thing we explored was finding the percentage of each color in the picture. We then discussed enlarging the image and how many beads would be needed if we doubled the size. Then, they were asked to ponder what would happen if we wanted to shrink the pattern. \r\n\r\nAs for my seventh graders, we used the shrink paper to explore scale factor. Students created keychains and measured the dimensions of their design. Then, their image shrunk, and they had to record the new images. Then, they proved whether the Shrinky Dink company was correct in stating that the paper shrunk the image to a third of its size. The students enjoyed using the shrink paper.\r\n\r\nAfter we get back from spring break, we will use the modeling clay to create 3D shapes. Here, students will be able to create an image with certain attributes. These materials have endless possibilities, and my class thanks you for your support. \r\n\r\nI will continue to find creative ways to teach my students math so that they can engage and question some of the principles and concepts. My students enjoy being able to use their creative brains instead of just solving problems abstractly.","fullyFundedDate":1736192762185,"projectUrl":"project/the-math-creative/8951032/","projectTitle":"The Math Creative","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Takacs","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5703136_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1534376521007","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mstsroom"},{"teacherId":1755623,"projectId":8633096,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support to our classroom consumables.
