Their excitement quickly turned into learning—especially during our new dice-rolling math fluency station. When students finish their math work, they pair up, roll dice, and create problems based on our current skill. It has been incredible watching their confidence grow as they challenge themselves and help each other.\r\n\r\nThese resources have turned early finisher time into meaningful practice. The board games and activities help strengthen math, reading, and problem-solving skills, and the organization shelf makes everything accessible and easy for students to manage independently.\r\n\r\nAs we move into our next unit, students will continue using these tools to build fluency and teamwork. Students each and every day are able to explore one of these new books and dive into the concepts taught in third grade. So many of these books allow for students to learn about characters, their traits, problems, and solutions. It has been awesome to watch the students make predictions and pick up new books they have never read before!\r\n\r\nAt the beginning of the year, I was thinking of how I could get new books to engage students and get them excited to read. I am now watching students read book series and sit in our library space excited to have a book in hand. I am watching students each day fall more in love with reading.
