So far, my afterschool art club has benefited from your generosity the most. My temporary space does not include any seating or tables for my artists to use. They were so excited the first time that they used these portable desks. They didn't believe a product like this actually existed. I wish you could have seen their reaction! \r\nThe desks are a welcome addition to our campus. I hope that when my new art room is complete that I can continue to use them in others ways, such as taking students outside to create art on great weather days or to allow them a private space if necessary. Because you chose to help this project, you have to assisted students to be able to create in their own space.","fullyFundedDate":1764697620233,"projectUrl":"project/for-the-love-of-art/9881595/","projectTitle":"For the Love of Art","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Snow","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6592495_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1762612452448","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/snow-art"},{"teacherId":7956014,"projectId":9651290,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, our classroom air purifier has already made a meaningful difference for my students. We run it throughout the school day, especially during independent work time and small-group instruction, to help keep our air clean and reduce the spread of germs. One immediate change I noticed was how much fresher the room feels after recess and transitions. Students are able to settle in faster and stay focused longer. While we are still actively working on remembering to cover coughs and sneezes, the air purifier has definitely been a helpful backup as those habits continue to develop.\r\nWhen the students first saw the air purifier, they were genuinely excited and curious. Several asked how it worked and why clean air matters, which led to a quick, student-friendly discussion about health, breathing, and taking care of our shared space. It was a great teachable moment that helped them feel ownership of their classroom environment.\r\nBecause of this resource, our next steps include continuing to build strong learning routines in a healthier classroom setting. As we move forward with lessons that require close collaboration, discussion, and focus, this air purifier helps ensure students can learn more comfortably and with fewer interruptions due to illness. Your support has created a safer, calmer space where learning can truly thrive.
