The past month, we have focused on watercolor landscapes and used up a lot of what was donated. This has really helped us continue our art practice and be able to create even more projects! \r\n\r\nStudents loved using the modeling clay and explored various shapes and figures while watching Claymation. We used cookie cutters as starters, and students got to use their creativity. The good thing about the model clay is that we can use it for all the classes and save it for later. \r\n\r\nAll of these materials have really helped the classroom run smoothly and get the students' creativity flowing. They are super excited for what's coming next. Every student has their own personal space for learning. We are having student to student discourse, team work for projects and listening to stories all on our new, AWESOME carpet!\r\n\r\nLearning needs to be fun and engaging, especially for the youngest students like mine. A meeting place or place to explore, create and learn is essential! From your extreme generosity we now have a beautiful, clean space for all of it! The students walked in and when they saw the new carpet the smiles were endless! They just could not wait to come to learn in such an inviting space....all thanks to you! \r\n\r\nThe children are so proud of their new carpet....it is teaching them responsibility as well! They make sure no ones leaves things on the new carpet or all shoes are clean before they step on their new learning space. It's an awesome things to see! Thank you again for giving us such a clean, colorful and fun place to grow our brains!!!\r\n\r\nA learning space for children to be together is crucial for so many things!
