Because of your generosity, my students were able to take part in meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that brought our science lessons to life. The children explored the butterfly life cycle, learned about plants, and discovered the difference between living and nonliving things through play, observation, and exploration. One of the most exciting moments was our visit to the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, where the students released butterflies into the butterfly haven after caring for and learning about them in our classroom. The joy and excitement on their faces made this experience unforgettable. The students also enjoyed decorating flower pots, planting flowers, and helping care for our classroom garden each day, which helped them build responsibility and pride in their learning.","fullyFundedDate":1778249994719,"projectUrl":"project/growing-minds-through-gardening/10204498/","projectTitle":"Growing Minds Through Gardening","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Topps","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9507530_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1715119417825","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9507530"},{"teacherId":9507530,"projectId":9935474,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation and support of our classroom. We used cookie cutters as starters, and students got to use their creativity. The good thing about the model clay is that we can use it for all the classes and save it for later. \r\n\r\nAll of these materials have really helped the classroom run smoothly and get the students' creativity flowing.
