Having a color printer avaliable makes such a difference in creating appealing and engaging learning materials for students. Math class this first year of school should be full of hands on experiences with numbers. Students have such a great time rolling dice and finding the colorful image that corresponds with the number of dots on the foam dice, that they do not realize they are also practicing number recognition and mathmatical concepts such as subitizing. It truly makes a difference with the youngest learners to present learning materials in a fun, colorful way so they are curious about them and cannot wait to \"play\" the math game.\r\n\r\nI sincerely apprecaite your help in keeping my classroom up to date with technology that enriches the learning experience for all learners. The supplies donated are already being used by students and has impacted the classroom in a positive way.\r\n\r\nWhen our donation package came, I had fourth grade music students. We spent part of our classtime doing a mini unboxing of the new materials. Many of those fourth grade students are also band students. I still remember their faces when they saw the reeds they can use, new books, and a brand new trumpet. With these materials less families will have to rent and purchase band items. Our students are understanding and they feel the impact of our new materials.\r\n\r\nNext steps we have from this donation is expanding the type of instruments that can be played in band, including the bass clarinet, tenor saxophone, and a wide variety of percussion instruments.
