My students in Kindergarten are the most driven students. If they are given the right circumstances and learning tools they live to learn. Our classroom is a unique and well rounded group of individuals from all areas and economic status. Due to the change in the atmosphere in Arizona, I have found I need to be more creative in my teachings and develop a program that enhances each of these students abilities to learn math in a new and exciting way that they all succeed. Not only succeed academically but also emotionally. Self confidence is just as important if not more important in the learning process. I know if I am able to collect the items needed to begin this amazing math program, these students will improve academically due to the increase in self confidence which will spill over into every area of their life both in and out of school.
