The joy and excitement that I felt when I saw that my project was FULLY FUNDED is unforgettable!\r\nEvery single one of my students is now able to get to use a wiggle stool daily to help let out their wiggles while they work. This will help them each to stay focused, incorporate movement into their daily work, as well as get to enjoy something different from everyday seating.\r\nWhen my students first saw the brightly colored stools they were so excited and eager to get to use them! The colors definitely brighten up our room as well. They have a renewed interest in music and look forward to attending music class. Students often want the directions to be written out in depth, but with these keyboards, they have enjoyed exploring the different tones and rhythms. The students have even taught me new things about the keyboard by exploring the different technologies included. We are under way in our clay projects. 6th grade had fun doing bobble heads, though many chose to create their own sculptures and 5th grade made some great fairy houses. 4th grade is excited to make clay cupcakes next week. After spring break 3rd grade will make their puppy dog faces and 2nd grade can't wait to learn how to hand build pinch pots.\r\n The students look forward to these projects each year and we are all so grateful for your donations to make them happen. Students learn different components of hand building with each clay project. Each year they learn a new skill and become more successful with their creations. They were so excited when they first say them. Their eyes got huge and their mouths dropped open! They were so surprised! We have added them to our STEM Bin rotations and they are by far the new favorite. The kids have used them to learn about building concepts surrounded weight distribution and limits. \r\n\r\n We are currently building up supplies to create STEM Stations. These will be implemented into those stations as one of the building block stations. They have truly made my classroom better and the students and myself could not be more thankful to you!
