The change-up in our counseling office offering some free goodies to students, thanks to your donation, was fun and uplifting. I've been a counselor for 12 years and after a while, it can get very mundane. It's fun to change 'normal' operations and give students something unexpected. The students loved the food, gum, and snacks you donated. We are always trying to find new ways to help our students with the variety of situations we see daily. From academic concerns to new coping skills, we love providing new ways to help that really meet them where they are and you have done just that. \r\n\r\nWe have used the iPad to have different calming games - coloring, New York Times games (the Wordle gets intense), mazes, and more. We have used it for a check-in system to make sure we are capturing which students are coming in and what needs they have to make sure we are available and helping them. \r\n\r\nYou have helped us continue to create a safe space for our students and allow them the space they need to work through the complex feeling of high school and we are so thankful.
