It truly means a lot to my students and me that you chose to fund our classroom project. My classroom has been deeply impacted by this donation, and the students were overjoyed when the new classroom supplies arrived! Now, every student has their own personal working whiteboard kit, which means they can consistently participate in a number of activities ranging from general classroom activities to one-on-one student interactions. Prior to these materials, every group of four students would have to work on one shared whiteboard, and each of them would do a little at a time, which is okay, but it's very limiting in terms of being able to have each student physically working and thinking on their own. Now, each student can demonstrate their own work on their own whiteboard and still collaborate with the people around them, which is a game changer. We've made kits for each table that I will be sharing some photos of, along with some other photos. Next week, we will be learning about waves and the different properties of waves in my physics class. I'm excited to use these materials for the first time to have each student draw the waves and their properties while I go around checking on and helping students.\r\n\r\nAgain, we as a class truly appreciate your generosity and how this donation has improved the learning environment of the classroom. We will continue using these new materials and see how they continue to help foster an environment of growth and dedication to education for every student.\r\nSincerely,","fullyFundedDate":1777494895796,"projectUrl":"project/boards-from-the-board-of-education/10063085/","projectTitle":"Boards From the Board of Education","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Masoud","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1114967_orig.jpg?crop=2142,2142,x123,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1775229585780","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1114967"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_61320","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":2165,"numTeachers":94,"percentFrplEligible":48,"percentAsian":28,"percentBlack":4,"percentWhite":41,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":14,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":10,"gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"23.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":76.5,"schoolId":61320,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Henry M Jackson High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Henry M Jackson High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/washington/everett-school-district-2/henry-m-jackson-high-school/61320"}
