I was so excited to get each one of the packages as they arrived at Heartland Middle School. My returning 7th and 8th grade students loved getting to check out all the new things that we didn't have last year. We all enjoyed our first semester of school and loved using the items and materials you funded for us during our speech therapy sessions. \r\n\r\nEvery single item has made a difference for us this school year! I have been able to print seasonal activities/games/materials and laminate them so they can be used with my students now and also in future years. We have played some very competitive rounds of Tic-Tac-Toe as something fun while working on specific speech and language goals. Uno is an absolute FAVORITE for everyone and it's so easy to incorporate into our speech and language activities - my students LOVE to make me Draw 4!\r\n\r\nThese are just a few stories of how your donations have made an impact on my students and our speech therapy sessions. I have countless more I could write about! That said, I want to share how much my students love coming to their speech therapy sessions and even love poking in to say hi and tell me a story when they pass my room. That alone speaks volumes to how much my students enjoy middle school speech therapy.
