Our classroom has been transformed into an inviting, cozy space where students feel excited and encouraged to read. Seeing their enthusiasm and hearing them talk about their books with each other has been incredible. Students are checking out books more often, and our independent reading time has become one of the most anticipated parts of the day.\r\n\r\nThese new resources have sparked a love of reading in so many of my students. One of the most rewarding moments was when a reluctant reader, who often struggled to find books that interested him, found one from our new collection and didn't want to put it down. These small but powerful moments remind me just how much access to engaging books and a comfortable reading space can impact a student's learning experience.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our reading journey, students are working on setting personal reading goals and exploring different genres. Our next step is to dive into book discussions, where they will share their thoughts, make connections, and inspire each other to try new books.
