I appreciate it so much! My students were so excited when they saw the new book boxes. We use the book boxes every day. Each student gets a book box to put their materials in that they will take with them when they rotate for reading. We rotate for reading and math in fourth grade to get them ready for intermediate school. The ones my students were using were very broken. They had cracks in them due to behavior students I had last year. They were falling apart and taped together everywhere. My students were so excited to get new book boxes. They kept mentioning it to other teachers and students because they felt so much pride walking around with them.\r\n The standing whiteboard was the other item that had a huge impact on my classroom. Students were so excited once I finally got it built. They look forward to being picked to write on the whiteboard. I use it all the time to make notes or display anchor charts. I love that it has wheels so I am easily able to move it around the room. It's been amazing and so handy to have this year. I absolutely love it. The other items, like the magnetic clips to hold things together or the birthday bookmarks I give out, have also made a big difference because students get so excited to receive them. Thank you again, because my classroom climate wouldn't be possible without your help.","fullyFundedDate":1759328544297,"projectUrl":"project/book-boxes-i-repeat-book-boxes/9721521/","projectTitle":"Book Boxes! They love the mornings (or even the afternoon's free choice time) when they start their day with open-ended thinking and building. It helps build their curiosity, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. They are able to think outside the normal realm of a worksheet. They get the opportunity to ask questions, think about possible ways to construct designs, and experiment with their peers to build complicated and unique structures.\r\n\r\nWe are so happy you chose to donate to our classroom this year! The items you've given us have made a world of difference for me and my students. The fidgets are great for helping students regulate as well as have that extra stimulation when they are working independetly. They take great care of them and love to use them. \r\n I also love the reference posters. I currenrly have about half hanging up in my room and will switch them out througbout the as we start to cover new content areas. They go along with our curriculum perfectly which is an added bonus. The students might argue their favorite thing donated are the indoor recess games. Which I absolutely love because I don't like having kids sit on their computers when they could be having social interations. I would argue my favorite thing donated would be the velcro dots and magnetic tape. While they might not be the most exciting items, not having to buy them with my own personal money this year was a real treat. I also have enough left over to last me another year or even two. Thank you for relieving the financial burdens off my shoulders. I appreciate more than I can express.","fullyFundedDate":1746785672524,"projectUrl":"project/fidgets-reference-posters-and-indoor-r/9269515/","projectTitle":"Fidgets, Reference Posters, and Indoor Recess Activities","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hoffrogge","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9647696_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y386&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723398817175","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9647696"},{"teacherId":9647696,"projectId":8950045,"letterContent":"First of all, thank you so much for donating! It amazes me that there are people willing to donate to complete strangers. My kids absolutely love it. I use it as an example to demonstrate how important it is to give back when you can and what they could do in the future when their older. They thought that all the packages coming in were for me, so when I broke the news that everything was for them their mouths dropped. They couldn't believe it. \r\n The things that have made the biggest difference for my students would be the desk pets and colored pencils. I didn't have many good incentives for my prize bucket that students buy things from with their dojo points. They were all excited to start saving up their points to earn enough for a desk pet, and then save more so they can get another one and their desk pet can have a friend. In math we use the colored pencils a lot to demonstrate concepts we are currently learning. Students get excited about math when they see me pull out the box of colored pencils.","fullyFundedDate":1738079198382,"projectUrl":"project/1st-year-teaching-motivation-and-storage/8950045/","projectTitle":"1st Year Teaching Motivation and Storage","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hoffrogge","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9647696_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y386&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723398817175","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9647696"},{"teacherId":9647696,"projectId":9087427,"letterContent":"First of all thank you so much for everything! The items that you have provided my students have made a huge difference in their day to day learning. Their faces light up when they saw that I had boxes piled up in my classroom. They didn't realize at first that the items in the boxes were for them. They assumed they were for me. When I told them that everything in the boxes was for them to use their mouths dropped. They were so shocked. They love sharing with teachers and other staff in the building that Panda Express bought them. \r\n\r\n The colored paper for example, is used daily by students to create posters on several things ranging from animals, historical figures, states, etc. The posters that they make hang outside my room throughout the year and the kids feel a lot of pride in seeing thier work everyday before they come into the room.","fullyFundedDate":1739374261535,"projectUrl":"project/first-year-teacher-snacks-books-colore/9087427/","projectTitle":"First Year Teacher-Snacks, Books, Colored Paper","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hoffrogge","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9647696_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y386&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723398817175","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9647696"},{"teacherId":9647696,"projectId":8732051,"letterContent":"My students were so excited seeing all of the boxes come in and opening them up like Christmas morning. The legos have been a staple for fun Fridays, free time, and indoor recess. It makes my heart so happy seeing the kids reach for the legos rather than doing something on their chrombooks when given the option. As for the Dog Man books, I had a few in our class library but was constantly checking them out and now more of my students are able to enjoy the books.
