I have an amazing group of second grade students. I am very proud of them for what they have learned this school year. They are curious and wide-eyed with a true love of learning. Since the first day of school, they have loved our daily read aloud stories, and now have fallen in love with nonfiction texts. We are proud of our school and what we can accomplish, but our school is over 70% SES! Naturally, this creates challenges for us such as lack of background knowledge or experiences, financial support, and family priorities. So, we look to you for assistance in helping us make a difference in our learning!
