My 4th Graders have all been deeply motivated to learn about electricity because of your generosity. Students are completely engaged as they develop knowledge based on experiences in building their circuits. Many students had a limited prior understanding about electricity. With your generosity within our Donor's Choose community, these kids now are talking about advanced concepts such as how the presence of electric currents flowing through wires causally linking one form of energy output (for example: a moving object) to another form of energy output (for example: another moving object; turning on a light bulb) and how solar energy and mechanical energy can be converted into chemical energy. \r\nHaving accessibility to these green energy kits allows us to bring their science standards to life and helps them grasp these complex science phenomena. Students' faces show their wonder as they see how the hand crank can be converted into flashing light and make playful sounds for the very first time. To be able to see the pride they displayed on their faces when they accomplished this difficult task is something I am forever grateful for. The joy and excitement that the Snap Circuits have brought to my classroom will further help me grow the next generation of scientists and engineers. It is also highly beneficial that the kits are reusable so that we can continue to use them for many years to come. It could not have been possible without your support. Your contribution has made a powerful impact on our prekindergarten reading program. Because of your kindness, our classroom now has a Toniebox—a wonderful tool that allows stories to come alive for our youngest learners.\r\n\r\nThe Toniebox has quickly become a favorite in our room. My students are captivated by the stories, songs, and characters. It has helped strengthen their listening skills, language development, and overall love for reading. One of the most meaningful parts is that families can record their own stories for children to listen to at school. Hearing a loved one's voice during story time has brought comfort, joy, and a deeper connection between home and classroom.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has given my students more than just a device—you have given them memories, confidence, and a strong foundation for literacy. The \"We Want to Read and Write\" project gave my 2nd grade students the tools, environment, and encouragement they needed to truly thrive.\r\nWith flexible seating, fun writing tools, and a cozy reading nook, students felt excited to dive into stories—both the ones they read and the ones they created. The writing prompts and publishing supplies helped them see themselves as real authors, and their confidence soared. Students who once hesitated to write began asking for more time to work on their stories. They shared their work proudly, collaborated with classmates, and discovered the joy of expressing themselves through words.\r\nThis project didn't just improve literacy skills—it ignited a love for learning. It showed my students that their ideas matter and that writing can be a powerful, joyful experience.
