The expo markers have made our UFLI phonics lessons more interactive, giving students the chance to write, erase, and try again with confidence. The grooved writing books are also making a huge difference by helping students strengthen their fine motor skills while practicing handwriting. The brightly colored copy paper has been a wonderful way to keep students engaged with their work and has also given our newsletters to parents a fun, eye-catching look.\r\n\r\nOur celebrations have truly become more meaningful with your support. The birthday seat covers, hats, stickers, and straws make every child feel special on their big day. Students are also motivated to work hard on Lexia, knowing they'll earn bracelets, stickers, or Mardi Gras necklaces to celebrate their progress. One of the most memorable moments so far was our first glow party. With black lights, glow sticks, and decorations, students had the chance to celebrate their academic growth in a way they'll never forget. These moments build a positive classroom culture that keeps learning exciting.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, my students are eager to continue earning points for positive behavior and redeeming them for pencils, erasers, toppers, and even fidget toys that also support their focus during lessons. The TPT gift card is helping me bring even more engaging lessons to life for both small-group and whole-group instruction. Because of your generosity, my students are not only more motivated and focused, but they are also building confidence and joy in their learning journey. Thank you for giving them these experiences that make school a place where they feel valued and celebrated.","fullyFundedDate":1746785933650,"projectUrl":"project/motivating-minds-with-rewards-resource/9287702/","projectTitle":"Motivating Minds With Rewards & Resources","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Allen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9531680_orig.jpg?crop=480,480,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1745767629137","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9531680"},{"teacherId":4523538,"projectId":9096927,"letterContent":"I am writing this message with a heart full of gratitude and appreciation for each of you who shared and supported our classroom project. Whether you donated, reposted, emailed, or simply spoke about our cause, please know your support helped bring an unforgettable learning experience to life for a group of eager, curious, and deserving children.\r\n\r\nThanks to your efforts, my students—many of whom come from low-income households—had the incredible opportunity to dive into the world of hands-on science, specifically chemical reactions. For many of them, this was their very first time engaging in a real science experiment, and the excitement in their eyes was something I'll never forget. These aren't just simple experiments to our students—they're doorways to bigger dreams, deeper thinking, and the belief that science isn't just something they read about—it's something they do.\r\n\r\nBefore this project, we faced a very real limitation: a lack of resources. Hands-on materials for science experiments can be costly, and when funding is tight, those kinds of learning experiences are often the first to be cut. But because of the DonorsChoose community, that gap was filled—not just with materials, but with hope, access, and opportunity. You helped level the playing field for students who might not have otherwise had a chance to see vinegar react with baking soda or watch colors change with a pH indicator. You helped them ask questions, make predictions, and see the results unfold right in front of them.\r\n\r\nYour shares and outreach amplified our project beyond what I could have done on my own. Every click, post, and mention helped build momentum and awareness, and in doing so, you became part of our classroom's success story. It's not just about funding a project—it's about the ripple effect of kindness, advocacy, and community.\r\n\r\nWatching students collaborate, question, and light up with understanding was a powerful reminder of how much impact a single project can have. For our kids, science is now a subject they look forward to—something that feels alive, hands-on, and real. Some even mentioned they want to become scientists when they grow up!\r\n\r\nI hope you know how truly meaningful your involvement has been. Your support helped create moments of wonder and discovery that these children will remember for years to come. You didn't just help fund a project—you helped build confidence, curiosity, and a lasting love for learning.\r\n\r\nThank you for being a part of our learning journey. Thank you for believing in our students and investing in their potential. Your generosity has left a lasting impression not only on our classroom but also on each individual child who participated in these activities.","fullyFundedDate":1745210901667,"projectUrl":"project/chemical-reactions-and-physical-transfor/9096927/","projectTitle":"Chemical Reactions and Physical Transformations: Hands-On STEM Explorations","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Alexander","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4523538_272x272.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1500660354628","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4523538"},{"teacherId":2105466,"projectId":8681552,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donations. The tablets have also been a major incentive for students to behave and try their best when working. \r\n The students love working on them and do not even realize they are actually learning instead of just playing. The tablets are very sturdy and kid friendly which is also a plus in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1733184439906,"projectUrl":"project/on-fire-for-learning/8681552/","projectTitle":"On FIRE for Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Schoenrock","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2105466"},{"teacherId":4523538,"projectId":8932843,"letterContent":"I am writing to express our deepest appreciation for your incredible generosity in providing lab coats for our students. Your contribution has made a meaningful and lasting impact on our students, many of whom come from underserved communities where such resources are often out of reach.\r\n\r\nThe lab coats have not only provided our students with the necessary safety equipment for their science experiments, but they have also empowered them to feel like true scientists. Seeing them wear the lab coats with pride has boosted their confidence and has instilled a sense of belonging and professionalism that will stay with them as they pursue future academic and career goals.\r\n\r\nFor students in schools like ours, where resources can be limited, your donation serves as a reminder that there are people who believe in their potential and want to help them succeed. Your support is not just about the lab coats, but about the opportunity you've given our students to dream big and engage fully in hands-on STEM learning.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of our students and faculty, I want to thank you again for making this possible.
