These materials will be used to help make independent reading time more beneficial to the students. When the students are excited to go to a spot in the room they view as their favorite reading spot, they are more engaged in the books in front of them. Creating a love for reading within students is the biggest key for successful reading inside and outside the classroom. Once students can stop viewing reading as just another thing their teacher is making them do and instead start viewing it as an exciting world of imagination they can put themselves in then students will begin showing true growth.
