These resources are being used to provide students with items such as deodorant, body wipes, feminine hygiene products, and other personal care necessities. Having these supplies readily available allows me to meet students' needs immediately and privately, helping them feel comfortable, confident, and prepared to fully participate in their school day.\r\n\r\nOne of the most meaningful moments has been seeing how relieved and appreciative students are when they realize that these items are available to them. For some students, asking for help can be difficult or embarrassing, especially when it involves personal hygiene. The Counselor's Closet provides a safe, judgment-free space where students can access what they need with dignity. Knowing that they have a trusted adult and a place at school where their needs can be met helps our students feel seen, supported, and cared for.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, the Counselor's Closet will continue to be an important resource throughout the school year. These supplies will help us respond to immediate student needs while also supporting conversations and activities related to self-care, personal hygiene, confidence, healthy habits, and overall wellness. Because of your generosity, our students have access to more than just hygiene products, they have a reminder that there are people who care about their well-being and want to help them feel their best. Thank you for making a lasting impact on our students and our school community.","fullyFundedDate":1780259762740,"projectUrl":"project/counselor-closet/10300732/","projectTitle":"Counselor Closet","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Horton","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9550937"},{"teacherId":5171595,"projectId":9996767,"letterContent":"Incentives have made a positive difference in my classroom by giving students something to work toward. Having the supplies needed to clean desks, tables, and other areas allows students to take greater responsibility for their classroom.
