Our new sensory items are helping our students in many ways. All of the items we received are loved, and I'd like to highlight just a few of them. \r\n\r\nOne of the biggest impacts is the flourescent light covers. They mute the harsh light of flourescents and create a beautiful relaxing element to the classroom. The students noticed them as son as they were installed, and many guests to our classroom have also noted how they contribute to the overall environment. \r\n\r\nWe love the new activities we have for Social Emotional learning as well. The \"Spot\" books are engaging and we learn about identifying and managing our emotions. \r\n\r\nWe also love the upgrade to the calming area with the nice big bean bag chairs! Our old ones were very well used and the upgrade has been welcome.
