I love adding new books to my collection that my students will like and they have shown so far that they like the books. \r\n\r\nI have already had students request even more graphic novel books from me because they like the ones I have. I had a student today tell me, Ms. Wittie you were right you do have some good books on your shelves if we just look. She found the \"Long Way Down\" graphic novel to check out and read. \r\n\r\nHigh school students struggle to find something they enjoy reading these days, but to see my students actually get engaged in the book to read makes me happy.
