My students absolutely love it. Even though many people know that we use technology, most don't get to see how something like this can change a classroom. The Qball has made our discussions louder—in a good way—and much more engaging. Because it's a microphone inside a soft ball, students actually want to participate and listen to each other.\r\n\r\nThe best part for them is getting to toss the ball around and take turns sharing. It keeps everyone focused and excited, and participation has gone way up. A few of my quieter students have really surprised me—they're suddenly eager to speak when they're holding the Qball. It has given them a fun, low-pressure way to share their ideas.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this possible. These books have been a good mix of serious, funny, nonfiction, fiction, etc., so that they are being exposed to many different kinds of stories.\r\nThese books are mainly used during \"book club\" time, where they read for 30 minutes, usually with a partner or two.
