My students were so excited to receive new markers, paper, sticker supplies, and other materials to help them put their learning into a tangible craft project.\r\nThe first project we made were stickers! My students love stickers and we made winter-themed stickers to go with the non-fiction books that we read (exploring authors, illustrators, and comparing and contrasting). We even made a few extra winter stickers to use as prizes when we played word work games (like BINGO using words ending in -nk or -ng).\r\nWe have started to use the markers to show learning after we read a text. The students love that the markers are double-sided and it has helped make their pictures even better and more clear. \r\nIn the short time since we have had these resources, the students have had so much fun with them. The crafting materials have been a wonderful compliment to their learning.
