The personal care products—including sanitary napkins, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, and other essential items—are providing students with resources they may not always have access to at home. Having these items available allows our students to feel more comfortable, confident, and prepared to learn. When students first saw the supplies, many were genuinely excited and grateful to know that someone cared enough to provide something as simple, yet important, as personal hygiene products. These resources have helped create a more supportive classroom environment where students can focus on their education rather than worrying about whether they have the everyday necessities they need.\r\n\r\nOur students are continuing to work toward their academic and career goals while building the confidence and skills they need for their futures. In our Career and Technical setting, students are preparing for hands-on learning, certifications, and opportunities beyond high school. The next steps are to continue using our classroom time to develop employability skills, participate in hands-on activities, and prepare students for success in their chosen career pathways. Most importantly, this project has reminded our students that their community believes in them.
