They arrived just in time for us to use during our animal and habitats unit. The viewers were spectacular for our animal unit. Students used them as we worked on identifying animals, their families, and their habitats. Students used the animal tubes to sort the animals into their habitats. Students used the magna tiles to create habitats for their animals. The animal stencils were such a hit with the students. They loved using them to create their art.\r\nAs the materials arrived, I kept them all separate from other materials so I could show them everything at one time. When they saw all of the new items, they were so excited. Everyone was smiling and talking about how they will use everything in the classroom. \r\nOur next unit will be STEAM. In this unit we look at a variety of careers that are science based and discuss what science is and how it is important. We spend time discussing technology and how it has changed over time. This unit will give ample opportunities for students to use a variety of different tools. I am excited to use the items that Donors made happen. \r\nI can't express my gratitude enough! Thank you so much for providing my students with so many new tools.","fullyFundedDate":1758230693132,"projectUrl":"project/science-in-the-classroom/9554613/","projectTitle":"Science in the Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Betterton","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3365426_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1449889933652","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3365426"},{"teacherId":9249609,"projectId":8606874,"letterContent":"With the social and emotional items you donated for my classroom the students have learned about spot and his feelings.
