They have made a profound impact on not only my teaching, but also how the students are learning. Because of your generosity, I was able to purchase three ukuleles, a ukulele rack, and movement scarves for our students. Being able to teach my students basic songs on the ukulele has been very rewarding, and they have enjoyed creating music, many of them for the first time, in my classroom!\r\n\r\nFurthermore, the movement scarves have allowed us to combine physical movement and color, with music. Seeing our students dance around the room with the scarves, and having a fun time moving to music, has been so rewarding. I know how I feel when I am impacted by a powerful piece of music, and to see my students be able to experience those same feelings gives me great joy as an educator.\r\n\r\nEventually, I would like to give ukulele performances for not only the entire school, a but also in the community. That will show other people about the great things that are going on at Greenbrier Westside, and allow our students to take pride in the work that they are doing!\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your donations.
