Because of you, my students are using grid paper daily to organize their math thinking, especially during multi-step word problems where lining up numbers correctly makes a big difference. The wobble chairs have been a game-changer for students who need movement to focus—one student proudly told me, \"I can listen longer now!\" We also created a \"brain fuel station\" with the breakfast foods and snacks, which has helped students who arrive hungry stay engaged during small group instruction. The student interest items have been woven into lessons as rewards and discussion starters, making learning feel personal and exciting.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials arrived, the students were absolutely thrilled. They gasped when they saw the wobble chairs and immediately asked if they could try them out. The snacks brought smiles and a sense of comfort, and several students said it made school feel more welcoming and safe. They felt truly seen and cared for, knowing that people they've never met believed in them enough to help their classroom.\r\n\r\nRight now, we are working on building math confidence through problem-solving and strengthening reading comprehension using high-interest topics. Our next steps include using the grid paper for graphing and data projects and continuing to build stamina for independent work using the wobble chairs and flexible seating. Your support has created an environment where students can focus, feel motivated, and believe in themselves as learners. Thank you for being part of our classroom story and helping my students grow academically and emotionally every day.","fullyFundedDate":1763474835701,"projectUrl":"project/inclusion-matters/9769817/","projectTitle":"Inclusion Matters!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Pacaldo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3985283_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1759083151865","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3985283"},{"teacherId":1663714,"projectId":9733966,"letterContent":"Thank you so much again for your generous donation to our classroom. Our classroom is using the bibs daily for the kids. It helps prevent them from getting messy and teaches them how to eat while at school. Eating independently is an important skill that they work on daily that will prepare them for eating meals as they learn and grow. The art supplies are used again daily in our art projects. Art is a great way for our students to express themselves and practice their fine motor skills. The paper cutter is a nice addition to the classroom that helps staff prepare art for our kids.
