Access to equipment such as binoculars and watercolor paints has and will continue to greatly enhance the learning experience of all students in our programming. \r\n\r\nStudents are able to more effectively observe the natural world using binoculars, which are intuitive to teach them how to use. These tools allow students learning about the practice of birding and other forms of nature observation to have a more engaging and dynamic learning experience. Watercolor paints are also useful for engaging students during activities involving mindfulness and recording natural phenomena around them. \r\n\r\nWe could not have done this without YOU! We have set up a small, but useful care cupboard in our building for students in need, and hope to one day expand this cupboard into a closet for the whole school to access. The items purchased with your donations help to meet our students' most basic needs, and help them to feel ready to learn each day. We have had students' come to our care cupboard for items such as socks, deodorant, toothpaste, hair brushes, and feminine products. We are so grateful that we are able to provide to our students' in need.\r\n\r\nIt is because of your generosity that we are able to provide to our school community, and leave our students feeling cared for, seen, and loved.
