The best part was watching them gain confidence in their ability to explore this challenging medium.\r\nWhen my students first saw the printing press their reactions were incredible. There was an immediate sense of excitement and curiosity. Many of them had never worked with a press before, so the first moment they successfully made their prints was a celebration in itself! They were amazed by the precision and possibilities it unlocked, and it sparked a new level of engagement with the entire process.\r\nAs for the next steps, we will move forward with an advanced project where students will incorporate their printmaking skills into mixed-media compositions. They'll be combining their prints with drawing, painting, and digital art to create pieces that reflect personal themes.
