Every day, my students use my calming corner to take breaks when their emotions get out of the green zone. I have taught many lessons sitting in my calming corner with a student who is coming down from the red zone and they use our fidgets and lay on our pillows. \r\nBefore I begin instruction during my intervention groups, we have a two minute fidget break where my students chat about how they're feeling while using our brain break tools. \r\nI cannot express enough how grateful I am to have received this gift.
