Starting the day with a calming activity has been something I have wanted to incorporate into my classroom, but had the concern on how to fund it. Because of your kindness students are able to start their day in a low-stress, welcoming environment. \r\n\r\nWhen first introducing the items to the class, they were excited! The floor puzzles naturally had students collaborating. So much creativity has been seen when students are building with magnetic tiles. The favorite item overall is the chess board! It is exciting to see students thinking deeply and use their logic to play before starting any academics. \r\n\r\nHaving these materials available for the students has been a great addition to the classroom.
