It's a reflex!\r\n\r\nReflex is a personalized math program that is designed to master addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts quickly and with automaticity! Students work on the program for three days a week for 15 minutes to earn their \"green light.\" The program includes game-like activities that focus on the skills teachers have assigned to students as well as their personal progress. Between our 2nd-5th grades, students have solved over 4 million facts this year alone, with an average fluency gain of 137 facts per student!\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful for your generosity in funding these incredible programs! The school had even been considered for state takeover due to its historical performance.\r\n\r\nWe knew our kids were so much more than test scores, but that they also had the capacity to learn much more than they were showing on state tests. In just four years, our school has gone from almost last in many measures to number 1 in math for the entire county AND 6th overall in reading, math, and science composite proficiency. No one would have believed this was possible, except for maybe our teachers and our kids. We knew what they could do!\r\n\r\nYour donation purchased hundreds of snacks to provide some brain energy to our students in our tutoring program.
