A lot of students ask to come to my classroom just because they want to be there. The anti-bullying poster has been helpful and is on a bulletin board space in my classroom. The feelings journal has been used by a number of students especially the youngest students who will circle how they are feeling and often draw a picture along with this of how they're feeling or why they're feeling a certain way.\r\n\r\nMs. Setzer, the 5th-8th grade counselor in the other counseling room said the bean bag chair is very large and comfortable and has been a great addition as she did not have comfy furniture in her room prior to this. The students had to help it \"expand\" initially by unfolding it/pushing on it, and now it is a welcome part of this space. She has decorated her room with the covers as well and has the yoga mats for the older students. Thank you again so much for your support.","fullyFundedDate":1767232252168,"projectUrl":"project/a-sanctuary-against-bullying/9710962/","projectTitle":"A Sanctuary Against Bullying","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Murphy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10258696_orig.jpg?crop=832,832,x909,y755&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757705957683","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/sanctuary"},{"teacherId":9417910,"projectId":9615847,"letterContent":"My students has never coded robots before. They experienced a little coding on a online platform but not in \"real life\". And that has had the biggest impact on their learning. For my students to actually witness the Ari's moving according to their coding, in our classroom, was pure excitement.\r\n\r\nAfter the inital learning stage, the students then let their creative process take off. They began discussing and creating different tasks the Ari's could do. As you saw in the photos, 2 Ari's are transporting a cat. This was one of several ideas the students are working on.\r\n\r\nThis project encouraged them to discuss, create, learn and listen to each other. As a teacher, I literally got goosebumps watching the entire process taking place in our classroom.\r\n\r\nMy words are not even enough to express my gratitude. Thank-you! Thank-you! Thank-you! I hope you enjoy the photos I sent of my wonderful students learning, creating, and enjoying the Ari Ozobots you so generously donated to our class.","fullyFundedDate":1764736814416,"projectUrl":"project/coding-robots-in-the-21st-century/9615847/","projectTitle":"Coding Robots in the 21st Century","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Elofson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9417910_orig.jpg?crop=2448,2448,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1704561507662","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9417910"},{"teacherId":8687752,"projectId":9123933,"letterContent":"Thank you for making my popped bubble art: a fun way to explore circles project possible!\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, they were so excited to explore math through art and celebrate our Pi Day in a different way.
